Such a cute little kimono for my sister-in-law who’s having her baby in August/2012. She hasn’t told us the gender yet but green is nice for a girl or a boy - I hope she likes it! If not, it’ll be a good sample for my booth.

Mods:
-unintended: purled back after textured row - should have just knit back to make it even - didn’t tear it out - design element? ;)
-intended: knit 6 rows of garter after picking up for the hem around the edges to make it even with the bottom garter edging
-intended: no buttonholes

I used a size 5.5 mm hook to single crochet ties for the jacket inside and outside.
