In the fall a lot of football scarves and blankets trend where people use their team’s colors and knit a row for every point scored by their team in MC and points by the opponent in CC.

My dad has been a Miami Dolphins fan his whole life and I wanted to do this for him as a gift. But I didn’t want to risk them having a bad season that year after I put all the effort into the scarf! So, I took the scores from the Dolphin’s perfect season in 1972, where they won every game!

I started with Judy’s Magic Cast On and worked in the round to form a tube before Kitchener stitching it closed. The blue for the Dolphin’s points, orange for the opponent’s points, and white to separate the games.
