Using worsted weight yarn so doing the doll as written for a larger doll.

Did the arms/legs in the round instead of flat.

Reduced arms/legs to six stitches, rather than eight. Should have reduced to four.

Did 16 rows of i-cord instead of 14. 18-20 would have made it easier to knot.

Instead of binding off, I just cut the thread and ran it through the stitches. This gave a pointier edge for tying.

I like this pattern for heavier weight yarns. The only adjustment I needed to make was for the i-cord knots.
