Pattern: Pineapple Baby Set

Care:
100% Acrylic
Machine wash and dry

Saque:
Underarm (not tied) - 21”
Neck Opening (not tied) - 12”
Sleeve Diameter - 6”
Sleeve Length - 3”
Bodice Height (with ribbon) - 2.5”
Full Length (with ribbon) - 8”

Bonnet:
Height - 6.5” (lying flat)
Depth - 4.25” (lying flat)

Booties:
3.5” Long
1.5” Wide
3” High

The bodice (without the sleeves) weighs 5g and takes approximately 40 yards.

The saque without the sleeves weighs 40-45g. It weighs 50 grams with the sleeves.

The bonnet takes 10g without the ruffle. The directions made up a large bonnet that would fit a six-month-old. The one in the picture is after I adjusted the stitches and redid it.

I didn’t like the bootie pattern so used Baby Booties by Olga for this pattern. I didn’t have enough green for the last row of shells, so did a chain/picot trim on the top to match the bonnet. I would have liked green ribbon on these booties, but opted for the white so it would match the saque and bonnet.

About the bootie pattern, I want to clarify that I like the concept it uses (picking up stitches on the side to curl the top over), but didn’t like the way it was done. I couldn’t seem to do it smoothly and it had lumps on the side. I may try using some sport yarn and do some experimenting.
