Notes

Started this the same sort of way as the Julekuler - in the round, 12 stitches across 4 needles. 1 row plain (3x4), 1 row with increases at each end (5x4), 1 row with an increase in the middle of each side (6x4) then increase each end every other row (to 14x4) then increase one end of each side only, up to 60 total (15x4). Then swapped to inside-out magic loop for the colourwork section.

The Cthulus are 10 stitches across, the border has a 4 stitch repeat, so an even number of Elder Gods should give a smooth border

Just done the eyes - used red beads size 6.
Top border is a cast-off in pale green followed by a row of 3dc, 3ch, skip 1 stitch, all around which mimics the border design.
Instead of icord, did a crochet chain, then 1dc in each chain.

Not my best stranded knitting, but I think that’s because I wanted it knitted quite tight, and it’s thrown off my natural tension.

Final size 10 cm diameter x 15 cm high (when flat). Turned out as a very well-received Christmas present for a friend. Yay!
