• Adjusting pattern to use sport weight yarn instead of worsted weight. (It’s easier than designing a top-down hoodie myself.)
• Using knitted cast on
• Using kfb for shoulder increases

I love Noro colours as much as the next knitter. But I have one thing to say about the thick and thin nature of this yarn. No sport yarn that thickens to a bulky weight has any business calling itself a sock yarn, even if it does have 25% nylon. Right?

This pattern is missing two things that would really help the knitter:

• Row gauge.
• Garment dimensions.

There are a lot of underarm stitches, and there is extra fabric under the arm. However, I didn’t catch it early enough--mohair yarn hates being frogged.

I did think ahead enough to add decrease rows on the sleeve so that the cuff is closer to the size of my wrist.

All the knitting is complete. I only need to install the zipper and hoodie pullstring and then sew the bottom band. But I’m not letting that stop me from wearing this lovely sweater.
