Used cream cheese container as stability, rather then cardboard (per the pattern). I did this because I wanted to be able to wash it.
Because the brown wool I was using was a wee bit thicker than the DK (and I was using a foundation chain), I ended up doing an extra row on the inner walls. It also made it more ‘even’ in terms of stripes (the final stripe was 2 rows, to match the previous stripes). Preferred that symmetry tbh!
Also: added a row to the outer roof, so that it reached to the edges of the walls. And I added stability (piece of plastic) to the roof.
Decided that the seat needed some stability too, so doubled the # of rows (reattached the yarn to the beginning of the seat area).
Will also do the same with the front of the chair - it tends to buckle a little bit.
