I made the symmetrical version of this neck kerchief.  I have two peacoats.  I have grown weary of long scarves that drape everywhere when I bend forward. This is lightweight, without bulk or drape, so it is a great everyday scarf. I can tuck it in a bag in my purse and pull it out to wear when needed.  I like that it  isn't large but it gets the job done.  I have made the symmetrical and the assymetrical versions. I like both. 

I was reluctant to use the wool from Hobby Lobby, but honestly, I really like this wool. It is very soft, especially since it isn’t a Merino or Cormo. It does not cause any itchiness. I will use this yarn for a sweater in the future. Glad I took a chance on this yarn.
