The Friendship Crochet Mood Blanket started off as part of a year long crochet a long by a fellow crocheter called Crochet Mood Blanket.

The basic concept is to crochet a granny square, daily or weekly, based on your mood. I chose to do a weekly square since a daily would be too overwhelming for me.

I searched the internet until I found a simple granny square that required no little color changes and could be worked up quickly.

Once I set my mind to doing the blanket, I decided to invite my Same DiNamics Crochet followers on FB to help me chose each weeks color. The first to suggest a color will have their color chosen. Any and all who participate in suggesting a color will be entered in a drawing to win the blanket at the beginning of next year. So far, I’ve had a great participation.
