This shawl is light and breezy, with great drape from the garter stitch. It wraps around your neck easily and comfortably, and it has a shag-like, pointed lace border.

The scarf is knitted from one narrow end to the other, with increases and decreases on one edge only, to create a rounded side. The lace border is knitted on the rounded edge.

The model is knitted in AllHemp6, a DK weight yarn that needs a few washings to become soft enough to wear around the neck. Whatever yarn you choose, the design allows for swing and an easy throw around the neck. Nothing fancy, just comfortable and fun.
