7/19/14 - After letting this sit in the PhD (projects half done) pile, I pulled it out to work on. Why it was neglected for so long I can’t tell, since it is turning out to be a wonderfully easy (despite the multiple charts and extensive beading) and enjoyable pattern!

6/9/10 - I frogged the Claudia, and started over with Knit Picks Gloss laceweight. I think it looks a lot better. (And I’ll use the Claudia for a different shawl.)

5/25/10 - After finishing four repeats of the second chart, I’ve decided to frog this and start over with a different yarn. The Claudia purple earth is such a pretty yarn, but it overwhelms the lace pattern.

5/15/10 - Cari (my daughter) and I are doing this as a KAL. The cast on took me three attempts; it was the first time that I’ve done a provisional chain cast on. Once I got through the first section, I flew through the first chart. I cast on with a Claudia Handpainted Silk yarn from my stash, in a beautiful Purple Earth colorway.
