This is my favorite slipper project so I tried to felt it to see what happens and they turned out gorgeous!! I used larger needles and a bulky feltable wool. They turned out to be about a size ten before felting and then I felted them and they tuned out to be the perfect size. I added the embroidered flower after and had to wear them a bit while they were damp to get them to be the right size. They were a gift and they were still a little damp when I gave it so I would allow myself extra drying time next time.
But I love making these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
