Sl first st purlwise wyif, move to back between needles on every RS row.

Followed Sushikette’s mods for using KLL as M1 and doing tapered ends with a 3 st c/o here. Note her instructions for the final decrease contained some errors in stitch count. I was able to fudge it but didn’t write what I did. Basically, I kept the left part (leaf motif) and did the extra decrease stitches on the right when I noticed the stitch count didn’t match the instructions. Next time I’ll write it out.

I used skp one stitch in on the decrease section, but I didn’t like the look of it. I like the left-leaning decrease, but I needed the second stitch on top in order to pop the two stitch pre-border before the leaf edge, like the increase section. I didn’t have time to experiment to get what I wanted as a match to the KLL, because this needs to ship.

I ktbl or ptbl, depending on row for each stem stitch so the stem would pop. It was easy to read which st to do this on. Next time I knit this, I will swatch to see if I want to continue the stem st to the tip of the leaf. As it is, I stopped after the yo rows were done so the knits between the ssk and k2tog were flat.

12/13 - Blocking. I loved working with this yarn and am anxious to see if it looks as good blocked as I hope it will.
