ERRATA ALERT!

OK, you can’t knit row 3 as written with a c/o of 40 sts. (Well, technically you can but it’s not remotely pretty or fun, and it basically has you doing a reverse purl c/o stitch every time you knit this row if that makes any sense. Probably not.) It leaves you with a yo as your last stitch and you have to try to purl it on the return row. So. You can either c/o 41 and knit the last stitch to lock the yo in, or you can stick with the 40 st c/o and when you get to row 3 just knit the first and last stitch and do the k2tog,yo in between. Or something like that. I haven’t actually done it yet. I have to rip out the first attempt, which is not fun on this yarn. It’s very sticky, so you have to frog the stitches with a crowbar.

2/25/12-taking this out of timeout and figuring out what I did. Looks like I am knitting the first and last stitch on row three and doing k2tog, yo in between ending on a k2tog.

Marchish-finished this and love it. I get compliments on it every time I wear it. The photography is compliments of my 11 year-old who informed me that she was being artistic with the tilted shot. So she is. :)
