Since the last waffle hat I tried to make for him turned out scarcely big enough to fit our not-quite 10 year old, I’m trying this pattern with worsted weight in the hopes of having an adult-sized hat when all is said and done. So far, so good. The Malabrigo is a delight, as always.

It fits perfectly! Didn’t do the last decrease round because I didn’t want Aaron to look like a cone head. He loves it and I think it looks smashing on him if I do say so myself.
