The Beatnik-Sweater was on my list for quite a while and after having finished all the christmas knitting I finally could start a project to wear myself.

The pattern is always clear and easy to follow and it was so much fun to knit, that I was never tempted to throw in another quick project (what I normally do).

The fit reminds me of sweaters from the 60s, perfect to wear along a mini skirt actually.

The Drops Nepal yarn worked perfectly and I also love the colour. I washed the finished sweater with a bit of hair conditioner to make the yarn smoother and it worked. It is not itchy, very warm and fits perfectly. It’s the best fitting sweater I ever knit and I feel like it won’t be my last Beatnik.
