I made this for community theatre production of Pippi Longstocking: The Musical. I used the slouchy hat to hold all the actress’s hair.

I used a wire coat hanger bent over the head and braided over it. It was the best wire I tried because it didn’t fall during all the dancing. I also used white ties along each FPDC row to anchor the hat to the wire.
