Cute little boots for a friends baby girl. I did a gauge swatch, and based on that I needed an I hook. But then I made the sole and it was too big, so I went down in hook size and tried again. I ended up making 4 soles before I finally got my gauge figured out. I didn’t have this problem with the goshalosh toddler boots.

So my gauge was 5 sc for 1 inch, not 4. Oh well, by the time I was on the last boot I didn’t even need to read the pattern for the sole, I had memorized it!!

Love them though, so cute, and pretty easy to make once you figure everything out. I did watch the videos again, and found them so helpful, since it had been a while since I made these boots.
