This was a kit I bought on Craftsy.

I didn’t like the way something looked, but couldn’t figure out what I did. I put it down… and then forgot about it.

Picked it up to finish 5 years later, I immediately saw what I did wrong. I was already up to the toe but decided just to unravel and start again. Knitted with the kinked yarn - will never do that again! Not only that, but something got into the yarn, (project wasn’t stored away properly). Luckily it was the just the top of the sock that I had started, the rest of the yarn was still good.

The sock on the right is the sock I unraveled and then re-knitted with a size 2 needle. It’s tight and shorter. The 2nd sock (left) fits much better. I knitted the 2nd with a size 2.5 needle and loosened up on my gauge.

I like this pattern and I will definitely knit a 2nd pair now that I understand the pattern. At the time, I think this may have been the first two-stranded sock like this I ever knitted. I have since attempted and successfully finished other projects similar.
