I used the Eastern Jewels Stylecraft Yarn Kit put together by Lucia Dunn. Alternative colour chart that has to be used in conjuction with Jane Crow’s Persian Tiles pattern.

The whole project was a pleasure from start to finish. Very clear instructions with additional online help if needed. If anyone is wondering about attempting this project, I would say ‘jump in and give it a go’, there is nothing too complicated. Quite a few colour changes, but then that’s really what it is all about!

My blanket turned out a little bigger than the pattern, approx 50 inches square. It’s a present for my hairdresser! I know that sounds strange, but she is an absolutely lovely lady who always makes my hair look so très chic! All my life I have hated going to the hairdressers, and suddenly she makes a chore a pleasure, and at a bargain price! I know she will love, love, love this blanket!
