This is working up pretty smoothly.
I’m loving seeing the diamond pattern grow; the pattern is simple but keeps you interested with each row.
The design is very subtle and I think a solid color yarn would also work very well.

Tips:
• I tend to cast on tightly which makes the stitches super hard to get the needle through on the first round. Knowing this, I cast on the same number of stitches but on 6mm needles then switched to 4.5mm after joining.

• For the entire hat (excluding the cast on) next time I’ll go down to 4mm needles
