Add elastic waistband casing:
(Elastic measured 1 inch wide)
Measure circumference around belly button, take measurement and minus 2 inches.
28.5 inches - 2 inches = cut elastic at 26.5 inches

Cast on 120, Knit 6 rounds (or until rounds = 1 inch),
Purl 1 round, Knit 6 rounds(or until rounds = 1 inch)
Then sew the 1st round to the last completed round, but leaving space to pull elastic through

Next time for the elastic I will cut it a little bit shorter, as it started to bulk a little too much.

I’ll also start with the waistband for Size 2 (instead of starting with size 1, then increasing stitches to size 2 on the following round)

After the increases I made 48 rounds of straight rounds and then made 8 rounds of ribbing and BO
