I LOVE THIS PATTERN! It’s so easy, effective and fast! The pattern is clearly written and can be found for free on The Royal Sisters Blog (which is a really great blog, by the way :-)
My mum saw this pattern, loved it, and immediately requested that I make her one. When I asked what colour she would like she replied: “Silver!” Hehehe, so I went in search of some silver yarn, Spotlight prevailed with the Moda Vera Romantic. The yarn itself is quite soft and silky to touch (until you actually work it up in crochet, when it becomes a bit scratchy, and I wouldn’t think you could actually use it to make anything that would be worn against the skin, like a scarf or shawl). This yarn was perfect
for this project! I used just over 1 skein of this yarn to finish it, you could easily make two covers with 3 skeins :-) The only modifications I made was to do a few more rounds to make it a little longer/deeper to cover the tissue box.
I finished the tissue box cover easily while watching Miss Marple :-)
Mum absolutely loves it, now she wants another one, and my Auntie has also requested one :-) Off to Spotlight I go! LOL
