I first made this hat as a felting experiment, which turned out to be quite successful. It is now one of my best sellers. And is in countries all over the world: Hungary, U.S.A, Australia, Japan, France, Italy, U.K to name a few.
The very first one I made (which is the one featured in the photo’s was made using recycled yarn that I got from the Op Shop (Thrift Store). Then when I wanted to make more I found that the 8ply Rustic yarn in Aran from the Bendigo Woollen Mills was a perfect match, and actually worked a little better :-)
I intend to make one to keep for myself to wear next winter :-)
