1st March 2011 Well I have finally found some time to add a bit more to this blanket! I have started adding the cream coloured borders to some of the finished centre circles. I really love the way it is turning out…. I might need to invest in some more Kureyon soon!! I’ve added a few more photo’s so show my progression :-)

7th December, 2010 This project had been put on the back burner for a while as I had other projects that needed to be finished first. I have done some more work on this blanket by doing the outside edges of each motif with the cream colour Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury (Aran). So far I have 16 motifs done… I predict I will actually need 90-100 motifs to make the blanket the size I would like it… but I’ll see how I go… I might get sick of it by then :-) I had earlier predicted that there would be less motifs, but I think that was when I thought I was going to make the cream border larger, but now I can’t remember how I planned on doing that :-)

6th August, 2010 I have started making this blanket to use up all the balls of Kureyon I have in my stash. I have had them for YEARS and couldn’t decide what to make with them. I think this is a good project for them :-)
I am doing the centre circles in Kureyon, and the square border of each motif in cream 10ply Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury.
So far I am planning on making 56 motifs which (according to my calculations) should make the blanket measure approximately 200cm x 175cm. It might take me a while :-)
