Notes

I love this pattern, very easy to understand and follow. The yarn is scrumptious, love the feel of it! It is easy to split the strands when using sharp needles, but it is worth it. I did a gauge swatch, and should have used US. 9 needles, but I didn’t care for the look of the stockinet stitch, it looked a bit sloppy, I liked the look using size 8 US.

Well, I had hard time with the edging, didn’t like how it looked at all with the yarn I was using, frogged all the edging and will do some other edging, not sure what exactly yet.

I ended up changing the edging from the written pattern, sort of fudged it using some other pattern stitches and the Nova border from the Skywalker shawl by Laura Nelkin. I love the all the shawls i made by Laua Nelkin. I hope after I take the blocking wires out that the edge won’t curl.
