Sample of my new vest pattern, Merewether Vest, which is my entry for the Mad May Original FO - Bring Your Own Design comp.

The stitch pattern is a textured rib, not a cable so no cable needle or equivalent technique is required.

Finished item weighs 228g but this sample has fewer rows below the waist, estimate for the Medium as written is 250g.

Merewether is a bottom-up seamless vest with integrated shaping panels along princess lines on the front and centred on the back. The upper back is worked in wide rib with a feature motif from the main stitch pattern. The straps are joined with 3-needles bind off and a small amount of short row shaping for the shoulder line is optional.
