Made these for my brother’s girlfriend. I noticed she likes to wear ankle socks and she has a wool allergy. I looked all over and I found these pretty yarn at Little Red Mitten in St.Thomas. I also gleaned, from a Christmas conversation, that she likes turquoise. I am addicted to turquoise and gold so I was happy to find these colours both available in this yarn:)

I have never made ankle socks before this, nor have I put colourwork on socks. This was a fun adventure. Additional fun was had in guessing foot size, since I was going off the size of her climbing shoes ;)
