A lovely pattern and some lovely yarn that was a holiday gift. <3

This was a quick easy knit. On size 5 needles it is just right for my 7” hand circumference. Sure wish I’d read the pattern more thoroughly! I didn’t see that the cables were supposed to be mirrored until I was done with the second cable section. This yarn tends to break when I unravel it and it’s not very noticeable, so I just left it. I find the cable sections less stretchy than the rest. Next time I might do that section on a slightly larger needle.

I was about five yards short of enough yarn to finish. I had something in my stash that was a similar color and fiber content, so half of the right thumb is just slightly different. A bit of jolie laide I suppose. These are very pretty and will keep my hands warm at the computer.
