I’m not sure why this pattern is called ‘chevron’ because it’s a variation of the classic old shale pattern or fan & feather.
The pattern calls for 7 repeats but I’m going to knit 9 full repeats plus one more of the Sage Green before finishing with the gray garter edge.
Finished size is 40”Length x 36”Width
It’s a nice size for a baby or toddler or as a lapghan.

The Carron One Pound is thicker than Red Heart worsted yarns. The blanket is a bit dense on the #9 needle for this thicker yarn. Note to self: if you knit this pattern again with Carron One Pound, use a #10 needle :)

I used the leftover yarn and finished this blanket again yesterday. Carron One Pound will stretch your yarn budget I needed to buy one more ball of the Grey color to finish the second blanket.
This time I was smarter and used a #10 needle with this thicker yarn and my needles slid like butter.
