Pattern #10 from Leisure Arts Big Book of Quick Knit Afghans

Two strands of worsted held together with #15 circular needle. I casted on 117 stitches (one extra pattern repeat plus slipped stitch for each edge).

My finished size was 46”x57” which is pretty close to pattern even though I added an extra pattern repeat. I knit tight I suppose.

Finished weight was 2lbs 15 oz… 3 skeins of Caron One Pound yarn. Easy to adjust pattern or length of blanket without buying a 4th skein.

The needle that I used is my favorite thick blanket needle. It’s a fixed #15 circular, 40” … perfect for heavy blankets.
