I’m using a well known stitch pattern called the One Row Scarf. I used about half a skein of Red Heart Super Saver to make a 7’x6” scarf. Steam blocking will soften the yarn.

step 1) long-tail CO 32 total stitches
(30 stitches for pattern + 2 edge stitches)

Step 2) knit one row (this row will keep the CO edge looking nice)

Step 3) sl, (k2, ktbl,p) repeat until last 3 stitches, k2, p

Step 4) repeat step 3 until desired length

Step 5) BO
