This pattern is really for a very pretty doily and looks best like that, because it doesn’t stretch the pretty stitches.

However… I am making wall hangings… So I made a couple of these and blocked them, then stretched to almost fot a 30cm ring (a 25cm ring was too small).

I do like the effect (although the colours in the pictures aren’t as bright as they look in real life).
And it does make a lovely, light wall hanging .

I added a row of sc to finish (with a point made at each “star point” with sc2, ch1, sc2).

And I’ll definitely do the design as a doily later
