The first of 2 mandalas I’m making from this lovely pattern. Both will be wall hangings.
This one is in shades of turquoise, white and lilac and don’t fit the colour changes in the pattern, mainly because I was limited on yarn available, but I think they worked out okay.

Although I used a finer thread than on the pattern, my mandala still fits a 40cm ring, which is great.

I only had a wooden ring available, so wrapped 3mm macrame thread around it to lighten it up.
Mandala is attached via beads and white aran weight thread (sheepjes calista, I think)
I’ve added matching beads at the ‘star’ edges.
I’ve left this as a wip because I’m thinking of adding some hanging threads… Will see…

Update:
I decided to add a fringe.
Now it’s finished
