Yarn used:
Stylecraft Special Double Knit in:
Fondant, Duck Egg, Empire, sherbert, White, Fuchsia Purple and Turquoise.

Hooks:
4.5mm for dc, trebles and decorative stitches, and 5mm for rows where most or all stitches are sc.
This follows advice on the pattern and works very well.

Pattern:
This is a lovely, well-written pattern, with pictures for each row and good explanations.

I added an extra row of sc between rows 15 and 16 (call it 15A). This was because I liked the ombre look achieved in rows 6 and 7 with fondant and fuchsia purple and decided to make the same with a row of fuchsia purple for row 15A.
This did add 2 stitches to each side for the following stitch count, but caused no problems (it just meant that I had 4 extra popcorns to make :) ).

My only regret is that I used duck egg as a centre colour as I feel it ‘damps it down’ a bit and I would have been better using sherbert again for that row. I changed to turquoise for later rows, so I think it’s just about okay :)

I have finished the square, but the light is bad this time of day, so will upload a picture of the finished square tomorrow.
I’m thinking of making another and turning this into a bag - either shoulder bag or covered jute bag. will decide later. If I do, I will add a couple more rows to each square to make them 12 inches.

Finished square size is 10.5 inches (26.5 cms)
