A lovely lightweight lacy shawl with a beaded edge - elegant yet warm
Flutters to elbow length - so easy to wear as it does not slip off the shoulder and can wear it many ways
A self ruffling pattern with graduated increases. easy to do but with enough of a challenge
I realised I missed one stitch early on and had to rip it all out and redo - discovered way down …….do not know how I missed it - but it happens ……. :-(
But the merino behaved very well
The beads add weight so it falls well and adds a subtle sparkle and glimmer /glamour!
Friends tried it on and just loved it - warmer than they thought it would be - yet light and fun but elegant - one friend now getting it as her belated Christmas present she liked it so much
I made it in my Lollo Rosso shawl pattern in just 2 balls Debbie Bliss lace-weight merino - a lovely wool to work with in a K hook so light and lacy
This pattern is now available from A WOOLY TAIL

This example is made in a lace weight Debbie Bliss Merino yarn with a beaded edge - illustrating its adaptability and how the pattern suits lightweight wools - 4ply and lace-weight. It looks stunning in either plain colours or with a space dye or painted wool
