I don’t remember my yarn or needle size, or even which size I made, but I found this unfinished sweater (I only made the sweater, not the hat or pants) recently, and have added it to my list of items to finish. Soon.

There is another grandbaby on the way, you see, with an estimated due date of “around Labor Day”, and this will be for him/her.

Still to do?

1. Finish the ends check 6/3/2018
2. Wash and dry flat (I do remember that it is acrylic) check 6/4/2018
3. Buy some buttons check 5/25/2018
4. Sew the buttons on check 6/9/2018

Why did I knit this sweater, 17 years ago, without any intended recipient? (My youngest was 8 at the time, and the oldest grandchild was neither born nor even thought of yet. I remember getting a lot of flack over knitting this little gem.) This sweater is a Debbie New design. It is made of two hexagons, folded, then grafted together up the center back. I am a math major, with a specialty in geometry. Need I say more?

Why have I kept it without finishing it for one of 14 other grandchildren? No idea. No idea at all.

I bought 7 rainbow-y buttons last night. They are perfect for this sweater! An added bonus? I have been wanting to use those buttons in a project for MONTHS now.

Finished the ends this afternoon.

I sewed the buttons on tonight, and that is one little FO, my latest 2018SALUFOAchievement.
