Back in March of this year, I was asked by the lovely Kate - from Ashfords, if I’d like to spin some of her personal merino sheep fiber and post about it’s journey on IG with the hashtags #katessheepies and #katessheepiestravelthe world.

OF COURSE :O) was my response.

SUCH gorgeous fiber had to grow up to become something next to my skin so I took the pattern numbers from a sweater I knew fit me well and then went off road on my own for the rest of the sweater design. I knew I wanted a split hem and bell sleeves for sure. This is what evolved and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
