Used up some Skirtydyed yarn that was left over from other projects. I made a circle for the base, then crocheted up the sides, leaving gaps for spout and handle. The top is another circle, but with a hole to fit the knob from the lid through. The buttons on the top are holding the two sides and the top together, the far left button goes through 2 pieces of material, one that stretches from the other side of the handle.
It’s all effectively in one piece, just it has an opening to fit the pot in and out that buttons together.
I’m glad that The Constant Knitter is having this little tea cosy contest as it gave me motivation to actually make a tea cosy for my little teapot!
Had an issue where I broke a wooden crochet hook and had to wait for a new metal one to arrive over Christmas, but managed to pick up where I left off.
