Notes

A friend of mine asked me to knit a scarf for her daughter that matched her own basketweave scarf. Hers was done in a Tunisian Crochet Basketweave (because she doesn’t knit, only crochets).

I decided to try the Tunisian Crochet and it was a very interesting experience! It looked exactly like knitted basketweave on the right side, but the wrong side looked just like the back of a crocheted item…more like horizontal waves of yarn.

It was very slow going, even after I learned how to do this crochet technique, so I decided to go back to knitting and create a knitted basketweave scarf instead.

I will post this free pattern by next week or so. It’s a perfect gift for a little girl (or boy, really…lol).

This scarf is SOOOO super sparkly - especially in the sunlight or under bright lights. Wow! :D
