Woo-hoo! 2 pairs of hiking socks knitted for Ian in only 3 weeks. I loved knitting this second pair (again!) and I usually hate to knit anything twice. I’m even thinking of knitting myself a pair in pinks and purples for the winter.

The wool is not very soft, but very durable and nice to knit with. I love this pattern - it makes a great pair of socks for the winter/hiking/skiing, etc. Thick and comfy.

I bought 2 skeins of the colorway 8 and 1 skein of 9 and was able to make 2 FULL pairs of men’s socks. Great yardage and value, I thought. Would recommend this pattern to everyone - especially new sock knitters ; )
