The original pattern is made for an averaged sized person. I’m 4-11” and the first go around the exact way it was written covered my butt. Took a couple froggings to get this the way I wanted it. I used “Hustigern” notes for the wider body and edging (I took a screenshot)

I loved the charts and will post the left handed versions when I can find them on my computer:)

I used an open shell pattern first.

OPENWORK SPACED SHELL

Make a number of chain divisible by 10 plus 1 and 5 extra turning chain. 141

1st row (RS):  Into 6th ch from hook work 1dc, 3ch, skip 3ch, 1sc into each of next 3ch, 3ch, skip 3ch, work (1dc, 3ch, 1dc) into next ch, rep from to end, ending with (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into last ch.

2nd row:  3ch to count as first dc, 3dc into first 2ch sp, 3ch, 1sc into 2nd of 3sc, 3ch, 7dc into next 3ch sp between dc, rep fem to end, ending with 4dc into sp between turning ch and first dc.

3rd row:  1ch to count as first sc, 1sc into each of next 3dc, 5ch, 1sc into each of next 7dc, rep from to last shell, 5ch, 1sc into each of next 3dc, 1st into 3rd of first 3ch.

4th row:  1ch to count as first sc, 1sc into next sc, 3ch, work (1dc, 3ch, 1dc) into 3rd of 5ch, 3ch, skip 2sc, 1sc into each of next 3sc, rep from to end, ending with skip 2sc, 1sc into next sc, 1sc into first chain.

5th row:  1ch to count as first sc, 3ch, 7dc into 3ch sp between dc, 3ch, 1sc into 2nd of 3sc, rep from to end working last sc into first ch.

6th row:  1ch to count as first sc, 2ch, 1sc into each of the next 7dc, 5ch, rep from to last shell, 1sc into each of the next 7dc, 2ch, 1sc into the first ch.

I omitted this row:
7th row:  3ch to count as first dc, 2ch, 1dc into first sc (edge st), 3ch, skip Esc, 1sc into each of next 3sc, 3ch, work (1dc, 3ch, 1dc) into 3rd of 5ch, rep from to end, ending with (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into first chain.

Finished with these last two rows: ch3, sc into first sc from previous row, ch3, sk 2sc, 1sc into next st, ch3, sk 2 sc, 1sc into next st, ch3, sc into 3rd ch sp, ch3 sl st into first sc

Added more yarn to the sides under the arm pits (there was way too much side boob for me lol) and it’s not seamless for sure but did the trick.
