I ran out of yarn and had to modify the handles. I think unraveling the sweater was harder than making the bag itself lol!! Deconstructing a sweater is pain in the *** and not for someone who doesn’t have patience! Working with 10 individual strands as one (if that makes sense??) was a challenge, but not overly impossible. I’m going to use this one for storage but I definitely see myself making another one a little smaller and with longer handles. It’s a fun pattern and I learned to do the star stitch (so much easier than I thought).

I cannot image doing this in jute!! Honestly, I looked at it in the store and it’s very, very rough. Besides, I think it would be really hard to crochet with garden gloves on, right?
