I was inspired by other Ravelers and made my own brim
My modifications are as follows:
Rows 1-15 exactly as pattern
Row 16: HDC
Row 17: Single Backpost (BPsc)
Row 18: DC
Row 19: BPsc
Row 20: DC
Row 21-23: Fpdc, bpdc

I used a G hook throughout my whole project. Although I state I used an entire skein for this project, I only used roughly 2/3 of the skein.
