I loved making this blanket and am looking forward to making more of them in different weight yarns and fiber contents. Wonderful pattern!

My yarn choice is lighter than called for in the pattern (pattern yarn is 100g/550 vs mine at 100g/700m). So, I’m using a 2mm hook and I am happy with the fabric produced.

2 extra repeats added to the width (308 cast on).

Finishing row: given my yarn weight, stitch tension and fiber choice, I decided to do two sc into each ch2 opening down the long sides and a sc into each stitch on the short sides, with all finishing stitches done somewhat loosely to increase stretchiness.

6/27/24 - finally finished and on the blocking mats!

Final blanket size (pre-blocked) is ~45x60 inches and I blocked it to the same size. It tightened down during the soak due to the wool content, despite the cold water soak in eucalan, but relaxed back quickly to correct dimensions during the blocking process.
