I promised my little brother a hat, but apparently I’m an idiot because I thought knitting a hat on size 1 needles for the rest of eternity sounded like a good way to get it finished by Christmas

Six months later it’s done.
Awesome.

This is a nice hat, but it looks very machine made, especially in this yarn. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but seriously, it took forever to make and I want some credit, darn it.

I cast on 156 stitches (7 repeats), which means that for the decreases, I worked (work 37, k2tog) 4x, and then decreased every row over 8 sections which start out with 19 stitches each (work 17, k2tog)
