Notes

2nd sample for the “Matjes”, this time with 19 sts on 10cm instead of 24, so that I only have 4 repeats per section instead of 5 - in parallel, I am updating the pattern accordingly, so that there will be 2 versions of the design (with the same size).

The Rennie yarn has been living in my stash since 2016, so it’s time I use it … I like Rennie Supersoft even a bit better than Holst. 50m used for the first 14 rows (with 195-199 sts).

20.11.2021: Closed to round. I needed 6 more rows to reach the 16cm for armhole. Less than 400m used up to this point (I assume it’s approx 360-370m).

After 54 rows + 21 rounds, the first 560m (2 skeins) of Rennie were used up. (my row gauge is off, so I am working 54 rows before I join both sides, and then more rounds too.)
After 54 rows + 52 rounds: 840m Rennie used; one rounds needs approx. 8,50m.

Medium grey is a great color.
And it matches perfectly with the special version of Ruppert Camellana, a tweedy variant with blueish parts, just like in the Big Camellana of my “Manati”.

Approx. 1350m used, less than 450g - that’s not more than for the “Matjes” original version, in spite of the thicker yarn.
