Color “Sky Mist” looks like the color in the book ![:slightly_smiling_face: slightly_smiling_face](https://style-cdn.ravelrycache.com/images/twemoji/1f642.png)
Nice and easy project for my Fanö holiday (without knitting festival, but we are going anyway).
At my return, I had worked front and back up to the underarm.
Sleeves:
Started as suggested in the pattern, seems a bit tight.
So 8x increases after 10 rows, then after 12 rows.
(Long arms & different row gauge.)
20.11.2020: Finally done with first sleeve (up to the underarm, that is).
10.06.2021
Joing body and sleeves in pattern was a challenge, and the pattern was a bit … hm, vague about it … and I needed more sleeve stitches and my row gauge is off quite a lot … small wonder I waited until my holiday to tackle this step. Monday was rainy, so I had lots of time. I know that I did not follow the instructions completely (more or less by accident, I added 2x2 short rows in the back to get the pattern matching, but that might eben be an advantage), but I think Marianne Isager appreciates it when knitters think for themselves.
12 rounds between stripes and 14 rounds between decreases because my row gauge is 52 instead of 40.
And 2-3 sets of extra decreases on the sleeves (every other time) to get rif of the extra sleeve sts. So far, it looks promising, and the rounds are getting shorter.
7 stripes, so 6 sets of decreases.
Extra decreases at markers around shoulder.
4x2 short rows in the ribs on the neck edge to get the back and shoulders higher than the front neck.
