Co-worker having her first baby in late December. It’s gonna be a girl and she is doing the nursery colors in light pinks and peach. This colorway is perfect. Making a square version.

Completed the afghan and I’m so happy with it. It took just over 3 cakes of the serene yarn, mainly because I crocheted until the square was 32 inches square before I started decreasing. I think the white border is the perfect frame for the blanket. I went up a hook size to a K because the blanket laid better overall. I already want to make another. LOL.

I also tried out the Furls Odyssey hooks and fell in love with them, I can crochet for hours without pain. That was so much fun and now I own 8 different sizes.
