This crocheted hearts shawl is inspired by one I saw on Pinterest. I tracked it down to a design that used to be here on Ravelry but appears to have been withdrawn.

I really wanted to make one but as the designer doesn’t respond to messages about it, I decided to figure out a pattern on my own using graph paper.

It ended up being a completely different construction and the way the hearts are arranged also differs in that mine has some upside down ones but it’s sufficiently similar that I would not be comfortable writing up a pattern as it borrows so heavily from the original designer’s concept.

As that remains is to thank Sigrun Raith for the inspiration that helped me formulate my “nearly copy” as I firmly believe in giving credit where it’s due.
